Bridal Shower x1

Hello folks! So before a girl gets married she usually celebrates with her friends and family with a girls only Bridal Shower! I've been blessed to have been given 2! One in Maryland and one in Missouri. :)

My two lovely sisters and amazing Mama had a wonderful one in Maryland! I don't have too many pictures from that occasion only because we had girls over that were not wearing hijab so we respected their privacy.

When you first enter the house we had this beautiful entry table!
Ammie (aka my Mama) comes up with the prettiest ideas!

In the living room we had a sweets table with delectable desserts!
One plate is empty because the brownies were still baking in the oven!

Appie (my older sis) came up with some cool games and she created this awesome frame where you had to guess what age I was based off the picture! I can't recall now who won, whether it was family or friend.

My cousin Zainab is an amazing photographer! She's kind of like our family photographer now. Free of charge of course. ;) She knows all the little details of being a great photographer, tbh I wish she was my wedding photographer instead of the lady we had. A story for another time, another blog post.

Ammie bought me a beautiful dress from ASOS! The best thing about this dress was that it was a TALL dress made for TALL people! Do you know how hard it is to find a dress for someone that's 5'9? It's extremely difficult. Maxi dresses usually end above my ankle, its like an awkward length that doesn't look good, that either the dress shrunk or I'm wearing something too short for me, but this dress was perfect! :)

These are my favorite dweeby cousins! Zainab is the eldest and the awesome sauce photographer I was telling you about. Hafsa is in the middle, like me she's the middle sister sandwiched between her sisters, we're also both bold. Emaan is the youngest of the bunch, she makes me feel old every birthday SHE gets older, lol.

We're a silly bunch! We always like to take a funny picture.

My friend's all wear hijab and had taken it off for the party so the pictures I took with them I cannot post online. My cousins though have no problem! Some of my cousins are missing from this picture. I have polaroids somewhere, I need to find them and somehow get them uploaded so I'll post them here eventually.
